by admin on Aug.17, 2010, under Uncategorized
Edith Butler here again with the latest music news hot off the streets of Melbourne. This week I’m going to discuss some of the city’s latest, youngest, and most exciting new groups, including the most talked about band of the decade the incredilbe Printer Cartridges (not to be confused with those ink-filled boxes!). So, let’s kick things off with one of the most interesting groups this reporter’s seen perform for a while:
No Remorse
I had the pleasure of seeing these boys tear the roof off the Plucked Peacock Bar earlier this year. Man they can really play! about 3 songs into their 15 track set the crowd was just amping. I’ve never seen a group get the crowd as hyped as it was that night. If you ever get the chance to see these guys perform don’t hesitate!
The Printer Cartridges
As mentioned, the Printer Cartridges are one of the most talked about new bands in Australian music circles, and for good reason. These guys have managed to meld a combination of rock, jazz, and funk in a way so perfect it’ll have your ears vitually melting with pleasure!
Well, that’s my little review for this month. If you get the chance, make sure to see these bands perform, especially the Printer Cartridges, they are truly awesome!
